Privacy Policy

What we collect when you contact us, where it is stored, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. This page also sets out exactly what our brand showcase does and does not claim.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Brand Sarathi, a Micro enterprise registered with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under the MSMED Act, 2006, operating as a digital growth agency from Delhi, India.

For the purposes of applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you actively give us. There is no account system on this site and no tracking of individuals across the web.

Through the enquiry form, when you choose to submit it:

  • Your name
  • Business name (optional)
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number (optional)
  • The service you selected
  • The pricing package you selected, if you arrived from a pricing card
  • Your indicated budget range (optional)
  • Whatever you write in the message field

Please do not put sensitive personal information — identity numbers, financial account details, health information, passwords — into the message field. It is not the right channel for it, and we do not need it to answer an enquiry.

Automatically, our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use these to build profiles of individuals.

3. Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quotation, and to keep a record of the conversation so that if you come back to us months later we are not starting from nothing. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent, trade or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list on the basis of an enquiry.

4. Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database provided by Supabase, in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. Access is restricted by row-level security: the public website key can only create new enquiries and cannot read, modify or delete any record. Reading enquiries requires a separate authenticated administrator account.

The website itself is hosted on Vercel and served over HTTPS.

Both are established providers with their own security and data-processing commitments. Because they operate globally, your data may be processed on servers outside India.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the infrastructure providers named above, who process it on our behalf in order to run the website and store enquiries; and where we are legally required to disclose it.

That is the complete list. No advertising networks, no lead resellers, no third-party CRM enrichment.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the associated records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. See below.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
  • Stop using it for any purpose you object to

Write to sarathibrand@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first — not to obstruct the request, but to avoid disclosing someone else’s data to whoever asks.

8. Cookies and local storage

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from. It sets first-party cookies (names beginning _ga) that hold a randomly generated identifier. We use it to see which pages are useful, not to identify you: we do not send your name, email or phone number to Google Analytics, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences or to follow you around other websites.

Analytics data is processed by Google and governed by Google’s privacy policy. If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on, and any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics scripts will stop it. Nothing on this site depends on analytics working — blocking it does not break anything.

We set no advertising cookies and run no advertising pixels on this site.

We use a small amount of browser localStorage for one purpose: remembering which site notifications you have already seen, so the bell icon does not keep flagging them as new. That value never leaves your browser and is not sent to us.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers. That is a standard web font delivery mechanism, and Google’s handling of those requests is governed by its own privacy policy.

9. Client data during projects

When we work on a project, we are often given access to systems containing your customers’ data — a CRM, an analytics property, an ad account, a website database.

We treat that data as yours, not ours. We access only what the work requires, we do not copy it out for our own purposes, we do not use it to build audiences for other clients, and we return or relinquish access when the engagement ends. Our confidentiality obligations under the Terms & Conditions apply to it in full.

10. Brand showcase — what it claims

This is worth stating plainly, because logo walls on agency websites are routinely misleading and we would rather ours were not.

The brands displayed on our home page and on the Work page — including VaayuTrip, Saste Loan, Glow Oxygluta and iBoom — are shown to represent the professional experience of individual Brand Sarathi team members, gained in their current or previous roles.

Specifically:

  • These are not clients of Brand Sarathi as an agency. Displaying a logo is not a claim that the company engaged Brand Sarathi.
  • The involvement was that of one or more of our team members, not of the agency as a whole.
  • Involvement was limited to the disciplines listed against each brand — for example website development, CRM, digital marketing, social media or SEO. Where a discipline is not listed for a brand, no work was done on it. We make no claim about any other part of that company’s operations.
  • Logos, brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only. Their display does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership or any ongoing relationship with Brand Sarathi.

If you represent one of these brands and would prefer your logo or name were not shown, write to sarathibrand@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly, without argument.

11. Testimonials and figures

Client feedback published on this site is shown with permission. Where any performance figure is illustrative rather than verified, it is labelled as such on the page itself.

We do not present projected or example numbers as achieved client results.

This site links to external websites, including the brands in our showcase. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under their privacy policy, and we are not responsible for their content or data practices.

13. Children

Our services are directed at businesses. This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data through our form, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or infrastructure change. The current version and its date are always published here. Material changes affecting how we handle data already collected will be communicated to affected clients directly.
